About us

We in the property department are responsible for the management and operation of Region Kronoberg's total property portfolio as well as the implementation of projects within the framework of operation, maintenance, and service. The property portfolio covers approximately 300,000 square meters and about 60,000 square meters of rented premises. Our overarching goal is to provide suitable and reliable healthcare facilities.

In total, we are about 65 employees, located at the hospitals in Ljungby and Växjö. In the property operation department, where this position belongs, 20 people work in various professions such as electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and control systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Plumbing Technician in our organization, you will work with supervision and maintenance of our facilities as well as ongoing maintenance with sometimes urgent interventions. Your work also includes mandatory inspections, measurements, and adjustments of our plumbing systems as well as minor installation work.

In your future work tasks, work with medical gas will also be included in your area of responsibility. To perform these tasks safely and correctly, training in the area will be included.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position, a minimum of a three-year technical high school education or vocational college, or equivalent work experience that the employer deems equivalent is required.

You have documented work experience in plumbing and are familiar with making measurements and adjustments of plumbing systems. We would like you to have experience in reviewing and revising drawings and writing technical documentation.

For the position as a Plumbing Technician, we place great emphasis on your ability to collaborate and your service mindset. Good social skills are important, and you should find it easy to build good relationships in your work.

You appreciate taking responsibility and working independently but also together with others in the workplace. At times, the pace is high, and therefore it is required that you have the ability to work in a structured and solution-oriented manner in your daily work. It is also important to see logic and connections in complex information or environments.

The position may include on-call duty with a response time of 30 minutes.

The position will be classified for security protection and requires a successful security review and background check in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

As the job involves travel, a valid driver's license (B) is required.
